“Strength is in a great measure question of nervous system efficiency while endurance is question of metabolism efficiency” – this sentence struck me during the lecture of “TRAINING FOR THE UPHILL ATHLETE”.
Recently someone close to me had an encounter with a professional sharp knife and the specialist holding this knife happens to have his own site with description of common treatments. Guess what? Cervical spine segment is directly responsible for the nervous system of our hands.
Both points combined: in case of recurring RSI-like symptoms that have been treated from orthopedic side with not so much of improvement a neurologist point of view might be interesting. Of course: consult your doctor of pharmacist. Just simply keep it in mind.
And in case you are or trying to be “the uphill athlete” – read the book. It is great and thoroughly explains all aspects related to the endurance training.
